Saphira is a PhD student in Environmental Finance at the UQ Business School, University of Queensland. Saphira’s main research interest is the measurement of corporate environmental performance in the context of science-based planetary limits (e.g. climate change). She is a recipient of the prestigious International Post-graduate Research Scholarships to undertake her PhD. She has worked with industry to develop  Environmental, Social and Governance performance metrics.

Saphira’s research is cross-disciplinary and extremely topical. Whilst she has published in several academic journals over the past several years, her most recent work has been published in the top journal Nature Climate Change.
