The Recruitment Essentials Day is here to give you the skills you need to get started in applying for jobs!

As part of Summer in QLD, this one-day intensive program will give you everything you need to get started applying for jobs. The day will be covering many common steps of the process including job searching, resumes, cover letters, selection criteria, and interviews. 

Get tips to polish your resume and cover letters, learn job searching strategies, and get advice on how to ace your job interviews. You’ll get the inside scoop as our panel of recruitment professionals and UQ alumni will give you their insider tips on how to stand out in the recruitment process.

For those that can't attend on campus, join us virtually for our panel discussion!

On the day

  • Remember to bring your current resume, either printed or on a device. 
  • Get ready for a full day of activities and connecting with others.
  • Lunch will be provided. Please indicate any dietary requirements whilst registering.
