Business, Economics and Law Student Scholarship

This scholarship aims to support undergraduate commencing and continuing students across the 3 BEL schools who are facing financial hardship.

Eligibility	Future or current domestic student. Are enrolled, or intend to enrol, full-time in any undergraduate programs at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law (including duals outside of the BEL Faculty).
Scholarship details	$4,500 awarded. 1 year duration whilst undertaking full-time studies.
Scholarship focus	Financial hardship
Tentative dates	Applications typically open in November and close the following February.

Eligibility	Current or future undergraduate domestic or international student Enrolled in any of the following honours programs: Bachelor of Business Management (Honours) Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Completing any of the following programs: Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours) (Research Pathway only) Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours) (Finance major only).
Scholarship details	$10,000 per year scholarship. 1 year duration. 2-3 awarded per year.

Tentative dates	Applications typically open in October and close the following June.

Eligibility	Current undergraduate domestic student. Enrolled full-time in any of the following programs: Bachelor of Commerce (including duals with the Bachelor of Commerce) Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours) Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours) Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) program. Can demonstrate and provide documentary evidence of financial hardship Any other matter that the selection committee considers to be relevant to the applicant’s future success in the profession of commerce.
Scholarship details	The Faculty will determine the value of scholarships awarded in any year. 4 year duration max. Number awarded may vary.

Tentative dates	Applications typically open in November and close the following March.

Eligibility	Current domestic or international student. Enrolled in Honours program within the School of Business or School of Economics.
Scholarship details	The Faculty will determine the value of scholarships awarded in any year. Awarded for Semester 2 only. 2 awarded per year.
Scholarship focus	Academic excellence
Tentative dates	Applications typically open in June and close in July.

Eligibility	Current or future female undergraduate domestic student. Enrolled full-time in one of the following programs: Bachelor of Commerce (or a dual program that includes a Bachelor of Commerce) with a declared Finance major (excluding a Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Arts). Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours). Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours) with a declared Finance major.
Scholarship details	At least $6,500 payable towards tuition fees. Duration of the program taken full-time. 1 awarded per year.

Tentative dates	Applications typically open in November and close the following June.

Eligibility	Current undergraduate female domestic student. Enrolled full-time in one of the following programs: Bachelor of Commerce (or a dual program that includes a Bachelor of Commerce) in a declared Finance major. Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours). Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours) in a declared Finance major.
Scholarship details	$5,000 per year. Up to 2 years duration. Up to 10 awarded.
Scholarship focus	Academic excellence, diversity
Tentative dates	Applications typically open in November and close in February.

Eligibility	Current or future domestic or international HDR student. Enrolled in Postgraduate research (HDR) course.
Scholarship details	Living stipend of approximately $32,000 per annum tax-free, indexed annually, Single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). 3.5 years with the possibility of 1 extension. Number awarded may vary.
Scholarship focus	Academic excellence

Eligibility	Future domestic postgraduate student. You have been offered a place in the MBA program (or GCBA/GDipBA articulation pathway to the MBA). You are an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
Scholarship details	25% of tuition-fees. 18-24 month duration. 2 awarded per year.
Scholarship focus	Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Academic excellence Diversity
Tentative dates	Applications typically open in August and close in November.

Eligibility	Future domestic female postgraduate student. You have been offered a place in the MBA program (or GCBA/GDipBA articulation pathway to the MBA).
Scholarship details	25% of tuition-fees. 18-24 month duration. 4 awarded per year.

Eligibility	Future international postgraduate student. You have been offered a place in the MBA program (or GCBA/GDipBA articulation pathway to the MBA).

Eligibility	Current or future domestic postgraduate student. Enrolled in or intend to enrol in a postgraduate School of Business program. Are of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and are accepted as such by your community.
Scholarship details	The Faculty will determine the value of scholarships awarded in any year. One-off payment. 2 scholarships may be awarded in each standard semester.
Scholarship focus	Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Accommodation
Tentative dates	Applications typically open in October and close the following July.

Eligibility	Future domestic postgraduate student. Employed in a Public Sector organisation with a minimum of three years' work experience. Will be enrolling in the Master of Business Analytics or Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics.
Scholarship details	1 x $5,000 award for Master of Business Analytics students. 2 x $2,500 awards for Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics students payable towards tuition fees. One-off payment. The number of scholarships awarded may vary.
Scholarship focus	Academic excellence Experiences and employability
Tentative dates	Applications typically open October and close the following July.

Eligibility	Current or future domestic female postgraduate student. Enrolled in the Master of Finance and Investment Management or the Master of Commerce, and completing the field of Applied Finance Able to demonstrate financial hardship with supporting documentation. Strong interest in pursuing finance.
Scholarship details	Up to $10,000 awarded. Up to three scholarships may be awarded each year. Maximum duration is the length of the approved program.
Scholarship focus	Financial hardship
Tentative dates	Applications typically open in November and close in March. Applications have been extended to 20 April 2026.

Eligibility	Future domestic postgraduate student. Enrolled in the Master of Finance and Investment Management program. Minimum of 3 year's work experience in the public sector.
Scholarship details	$10,000 awarded. One-off payment. The number of awarded scholarships may vary.
