Robert Guerrero is a PhD student at the UQ Business School where he is currently researching dividend expectations from option prices. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting with first class honours from the University of Queensland in 2013. His honours research, in market microstructure, won the Thomas Brown and Sons Ltd prize for best thesis. He has completed a semester at the NYU Stern Business School in New York as part of their Visiting Doctoral program where he studied doctoral level macro/microeconomics, financial econometrics, asset pricing, and corporate theory. He has previously worked as a financial planner.
