    Jerad has 10 years of experience with the world’s largest independent research and development firm, Battelle, as a Senior Research Scientist responsible for project management and business development. He has worked extensively with major US government agencies on innovation, and has recently set strategy for renewable energy, and oil and gas exploration and production, for a major national oil and gas firm in SE Asia.

    Mr Ford has led research efforts for two recent influential industry documents on the productivity challenge of oil and gas: 

    Ernst & Young, 2014. Adapt to win: How Australian Oil and gas companies improve productivity in challenging times. Perth.
    Ernst & Young, 2013. Delivering a step change in organisational productivity: Findings from the Australian Oil & Gas Productivity and Innovation Survey. Brisbane.

    Innovation in large temporary organisations
    How do firms overcome many challenges of temporary organising, such as learning and environmental constraints and still deliver innovations?
    Inter-organisational projects
    How do firms work across their boundaries in the delivery of innovative projects?
    Megaprojects
    Can the productivity challenges and failures of very large projects be improved through innovation?
