Barbara is an executive coach, lecturer and advisor.  Her approach is strengths based with a focus on how to bring out the best in her clients and students and enable them to fulfil their potential. This approach is based on her academic and applied knowledge of positive psychology, positive organisational scholarship, appreciative inquiry and neuroscience. She combines this knowledge with her 20 years’ management experience in financial and business services as well as her 15 years as a coach, researcher and academic. Barbara works with large, small and government organisations as well as not-for-profits; her niche is working with women.  She is often told by both her clients and students that she has changed their lives, which makes her very happy.   Her research intrests are in the area of diversity and creating a diverse executive team.  She is married and has one son and two dogs.
