Nestled within the Sofitel Hotel, the Cuvée Lounge Bar exudes sophistication, luxury and ambiance – the ideal spot for this exclusive UQ Business School women’s event.
The evening was hosted by Dr Polly Parker of UQ Business School - an expert in Women in Leadership, who spoke about the importance of networking and developing greater relationships – sharing with the audience five tips to moving up the career ladder from her recently published article, ‘A Woman’s Guide to Getting Ahead’ on UQ Business School’s Momentum website.
The attendees enjoyed a variety of exclusive champagnes and matching canapés throughout the evening, with sommelier, Wendy Hawken-Leslie from the Sofitel Hotel, guiding them through the champagnes on offer.
The evening provided a wonderful networking opportunity for a range of alumni, with graduates from as early as 1980 in attendance. It was a great night and a great chance to see so many of our UQ Business School alums!
