The Graduate Management Association of Australia (GMAA) has awarded UQ Business School's MBA five stars for the sixth consecutive year. Published in the Good Universities Guide to MBA and Management Courses 2011, the rating is widely considered Australia's most influential. Academic Dean and Head of School Professor Iain Watson said he was delighted that UQ Business School had once again been awarded five stars. He said, "Only eight schools out of 40 were awarded five stars this year." "This is the sixth consecutive year that our MBA has earned the highest possible rating." "Only two other current five star schools can claim more than five consecutive years of five star ratings. They are Melbourne Business School and The University of Western Australia's Business School." UQ Business School's MBA was also awarded five stars for corporate links and staff quality. The Good Universities Guide to MBA and Management Courses 2011 will be available at the MBA and Postgraduate Expo on Thursday 9 September at the Sebel Citigate, Brisbane, from midday to 7pm
