29 Sep 2009
UQ Business School Alumni Association has produced a new publication that will foster engagement between the school and its graduates. Launched recently in September, the bi-annual magazine provides opportunities for alumni to connect with fellow graduates and stay up-to-date with news, research, and events from UQBS. Secretary of the UQ Business School Alumni Association, Corina Raduescu, said the magazine was a new means of communication for the school. "The magazine aims to strengthen the bond between UQBS and its alumni, including those who may have lost touch with the school and fellow alumni in recent years," she said. Each issue will feature profiles of UQBS graduates, information on upcoming alumni events, and articles about current UQBS staff research. "The magazine will be a valuable resource for alumni to re-connect with UQBS and each other," said Alexander Stathakis, executive committee member of the association. "We want to provide the alumni with information, a series of events and programs which suit their interests," he said. The association provides a variety of networking and professional development opportunities as well as member benefits, resources, and services for alumni. It is a dynamic network that has achieved significant membership growth in the last three years. The publication will be distributed to all members of the association and is also available online here If you are a graduate or are soon to be graduating with a degree from UQ Business School, you can become a member of the UQ Business School Alumni Association.
