Secrets of China's Success

China Immersion Tour - Saturday 18 to Sunday 26 November 2017

On previous immersion trips to China, MBA students learned first-hand how a country relatively new to global business could so quickly lead the way in many new and established industries, from digital innovation to specialised manufacturing.

MBA Alumni Chris Henderson leads the tour to China, and previous tours have included:

  • Lectures at Fudan University School of Business
  • A factory visit to see manufacturing operations for Brisbane based Super Retail Group
  • Visits to GE’s research and development lab

Comprehensive feedback from students has shown that the China immersion has broadened their knowledge of China and improved their global perspective whilst also expanding their international networks.

The tour fee is $5,900 and includes all accommodation, visas, international flights, company and educational visits and most meals. View a sample itinerary for this tour.

“The immersion program is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and certainly provides a great context for my MBA studies. I now have an improved understanding of the international and local challenges for working with China thanks to the well-structured relevant lectures and company visits. The cohort group and staff made the trip a very enjoyable experience and helped motivate each other to learn and to share ideas.” Dylan Bull, MBA student.
