Professor Naomi Soderstrom, Professor, Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado, Boulder, USA

Dr. Soderstrom received her Ph.D. in Accounting and Information Systems from Northwestern University. Her primary research areas are managerial accounting and environmental accounting. Dr. Soderstrom’s work has appeared in major journals including Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, Journal of the American Medical Association, Review of Accounting Studies, Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Management Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, and Journal of Accounting and Public Policy in the U.S. and Accounting Organizations and Society and European Accounting Review in Europe. She is on the editorial boards of five journals. Prior to joining the University of Colorado at Boulder, Dr. Soderstrom taught at the University of Washington and University of Colorado at Denver. In addition to her position at the University of Colorado at Boulder, she is currently Visiting Professor at IE Business School (Madrid, Spain) and University of Mannheim (Mannheim, Germany). She has also held visiting positions at University of Melbourne and Stuttgart Institute of Management and Technology. She will be joining the University of Melbourne full time in June, 2012.
