Think Business: Marketing in the digital era: Monitoring marketing outcomes

21 May, 2018 - 17:30 to 19:45
Customs House, River Room, 399 Queen Street, Brisbane QLD 4000

As part of UQ Business School's exciting new Think Business series, we invite you to explore 'Marketing in a social media age: Monitoring marketing outcomes', on Monday 21 May 2018.

In an age of digitalisation and automation, never before have brands had greater access to consumer data. Likewise, consumers are now empowered with more information about the products and services that brands offer.

This increase in communication between brands and consumers has enabled organisations to engage with customers more effectively, and build on customer-to-customer interactions. However, organisations are now in a vulnerable position where transgressions are susceptible to severe consumer punishment.

Our globally distinguished panel will draw upon value co-creation, management frameworks and the use of big data to provide insight into how managers can increase the value for both the customer relationship and the organisation’s bottom line.

Panelists include:
Professor Mark Uncles, University of New South Wales
Professor Simon Bell, The University of Melbourne
Renee Davidson, RACQ, General Manager, Marketing

Facilitator: Dr Alastair Tombs, UQ Business School

Please ensure you register your attendance by Wednesday 16 May 2018, as places are limited.
