The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Awards showcase and celebrate the breadth of UQ entrepreneurship.
Ranging from student entrepreneurs to research-based startups that offer solutions to local and global challenges to create positive change.
The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Awards celebrate the great success stories of entrepreneurship across the university.
Award winners of each category will receive $1,000 in prize money. Nominate for the following five categories.
Startup of the Year
Student Entrepreneur of the Year
Mentor of the Year
Social Enterprise of the Year
Food and Beverage Startup of the Year
Award categories
Startup of the Year
This award recognises the exceptional startups which have been developed through UQ.
Student Entrepreneur of the Year
This award recognises current UQ students, or recent graduates, who have developed entrepreneurial ventures while at UQ.
Mentor of the Year
This award recognises the exceptional value and support which mentors provide to students and UQ entrepreneurial activities.
Social Enterprise of the Year
This award recognises the amazing work done by UQ startups or students to support the community and directly generates social change or impacts a social cause.
Food and Beverage Startup of the Year
This award recognises the exceptional startups within the food and beverage sector within Australia.

Keep up-to-date with the following timeline and make sure to submit your nominations before 23 June 2024.

| 15 May | Nominations open | To make your nomination please fill in this form. |
| 23 June | Nominations close | Submit your nomination before nominations close to ensure your nomination is reviewed. |
| 1 July | Shortlisting | All nominations will be shortlisted for judging. |
| 8 July | Judging | Judging to be finalised for the award ceremony. |
| 21 August | Award ceremony | Nominees and guests to come together for the announcement of all award winners. |
