Dr John Steen is a Senior Lecturer in Strategy at UQ Business School. His research and teaching focus within innovation and strategic management reflects an ongoing interest in intangible resources such as knowledge and information and the way that they contribute to strategic choice and sustained competitive advantage. He has applied his interest in risk and uncertainty management to developing business strategies with a range of blue chip corporate clients and is currently involved in a major international collaboration on understanding processes of innovation and strategic change.
Dr Kevin Hendry has extensive experience as a strategy and governance consultant, director and senior manager. Kevin was a Managing Director of Competitive Dynamics Pty Ltd, a business based management consultancy specialising in corporate governance and strategy. Prior to that he was Vice President and Managing Director Asia Pacific for Monsanto's Nutrition and Consumer Products business as well as a member of the unit's Global Board. He is currently a director of StratBoard and has held a number of executive and non-executive director roles in several countries in the Asia Pacific region in both established and start-up businesses.
