Business and International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Magazine Launch

17 May, 2016 - 17:30
King & Wood Mallesons Level 33, Waterfront Place 1 Eagle Street, Brisbane

As a result of economic globalisation, business enterprises increasingly find themselves carrying out operations in areas affected by instability and conflict. There are concerns that this global presence increases the possibility of businesses exacerbating conflict or contributing to violations of IHL.

Join our panellists as we launch the latest edition of our Red Cross IHL Magazine: The Business of War. Learn more about business’ legal obligations in conflict; whether corporations can be guilty of war crimes and how business can play a positive role in times of armed conflict.
