Don Taylor, Chairman, Graincorp Limited

Don Taylor has been involved in agriculture his whole life.  Firstly as a producer of grain, beef and cotton, secondly as a representative of the Queensland grains industry through his involvement with various industry representative bodies and thirdly as a significant participant in agribusiness.

He is currently the Chairman of Graincorp Limited, a position he has held since 2005.  This also included a 12 month period serving as Acting CEO throughout 2014.  Don is a Director of Beston Global Foods Limited which listed on the ASX in 2015.  He was previously Chairman of Carrington Cotton Limited and has served on numerous Government advisory bodies throughout his extensive career and involvement in agribusiness.

Don is a Chartered Accountant, having worked with Arthur Andersen in the 1970’s in Sydney, Singapore and Brisbane.  He graduated from Queensland University with a Bachelor of Commerce and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Science.  He is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
