Welcome to the 16th Meet the Industry Leaders Event (MILE) Get Connected.
The purpose of MILE is to provide students with the opportunity to meet and speak with representatives from the Tourism, Events & Hospitality Industry to gain a greater understanding of the industries' expectations and potential career paths and opportunities. The main purpose of the event is to create a networking environment and encourage a meaningful two-way exchange between graduating students and exhibitors.

Cuisine on Cue is a fast-paced, dynamic catering and events company. We cater for and organise many different events from small corporate conferences to large weddings and gala dinners.
Cuisine on Cue offers full event planning including organising event equipment, staffing, event theming, and venue hire for events and catering in Brisbane and wider South-East Queensland.

The Department of Tourism, Major Events, Small Business and the Commonwealth Games provides leadership in making Queensland an attractive destination for tourists, investment and events, supported by strong, capable and responsive businesses. The Tourism Division drives growth in Queensland’s tourism industry and works with the private sector and across government to build the state’s tourism infrastructure and create a favourable environment for the industry to grow. The Young Tourism Leaders program is a key initiative of the department to promote career opportunities in tourism.
There are currently ten Young Tourism Leaders who are dynamic, young people who are keen to share their knowledge and experience, inspire others and pursue an exciting career in tourism.

Queensland Cricketers' Club
For more than 50 years the Queensland Cricketers’ Club has been the premier place in Brisbane for lovers of sport to unite.
