Profile:

Anne is a Professor of Financial Accounting and internationally recognised scholar in financial accounting research, with a specific focus on economic, accounting and valuation issues relating to technological innovation and intangible investment. Anne has a number of current interests including:

  1. Measurement and valuation issues relating to intangibles
  2. Technological innovation implications for accounting practice and quality
  3. Human capital economic and measurement issues
  4. Modeling pay-performance relations for company executives
  5. How financial analysts forecast earnings
  6. Performance hurdle issues relating to executive compensation contracts
  7. The use of stock options around initial public offerings
  8. Factors influencing analyst following decisions
  9. The association between the board of directors and the firm’s operational and risk characteristics
  10. Real earnings management measures and implications for long term investment and performance
