Doctor of Philosophy

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is the highest level of academic study and is suitable for those who want to become an expert in their field or make the transition to an academic career. The PhD is equivalent to three or four years of full-time study. Candidates undertake a significant research project which allows them to develop their research, analytical skills, and make a contribution to original research and knowledge in their chosen field.
