Q: What's the big deal about the MBA?
A: Internationally, the MBA is seen as the flagship program for business schools. But a quality MBA program also tells you a lot about the quality of the School.
Independent ranking bodies like the Graduate Management Association of Australia (GMAA) and the Financial Review's Boss magazine ranking look at a range of indicators in assessing MBA quality including:
- Quality of academic staff (including staff numbers, qualifications, diversity, and international and consulting experience)
- Calibre and diversity of student body
- Quality and range of services provided for students
- Employment outcomes for graduates
- Quality of the school's research output.
As you can see, all these measures are equally useful quality indicators for students interested in any of our degree programs.
