Current research interests of cluster members include, for example: the determinants of SME internationalisation, organisational architecture and inter-firm exchange, exchange externalisation and the market for transactions in firm internationalisation, product and market processes in the internationalisation of the high-tech born-global firm, international market selection by Australian firms, legal aspects of international business, modelling the price/cost relationships in electricity operations, modelling the impact of curbs on greenhouse gas emissions on electricity generation, modelling stakeholder performance in private and public sector organisations, entrepreneurship and new venture creation. The research of cluster members has attracted significant external research funding from the ARC (including Linkage Grants) and from a variety of industry sources. Between them, cluster members are currently supervising some 25 PhD students. Members have also had significant overseas experience, and have research links with academics in universities in Australia and overseas (including the Universitas 21 universities).
