Field of Current Research

Title of Research Area Brief Description
Evaluation of Conceptual Modeling Grammars The main aim of this research is the analysis of enterprise systems interoperability standards as well as various conceptual modelling grammars. Such theoretically-backed and empirically tested analysis gives insight into the strengths and limitations of standards/grammars, and, therefore, provides feedback to the authors, implementers, and users of these standards/grammars.
Business Process Management This research focuses on identifying the maturity of business process modelling notations (e.g. BPMN), identifying process improvement patterns, and analysing the critical issues in Business Process Management in general.
