Field of Current Research

Title of Research Area Brief Description
Culture change in organisations The collaborative research project titled: "Culture Change for a Sustainable Future: Strategy, Culture and Subculture in Queensland Health" investigates the processes of strategic change and change implementation, focusing on the dynamic intersection of change with organisational cultures and subcultures. Its aim is to examine the nature and extent of culture change caused by the change process and the alignment of culture with the aspirations of change initiatives. The focus is also on how organisation members use cultures and subcultures as a resource to individually or collectively interpret, make sense of and respond to change initiatives and how it affects their sense of organisational and subcultural identification and professional and personal identity.
