Research Students

UQ Business School is committed to developing the next generation of scholars and researchers through its outstanding [research degree programs. In addition to the Master of Philosophy and PhD programs, the School also runs a very successful Honours program.

The School's highly qualified academic staff are engaged in a wide range of research projects - providing students with many potential supervisors.

Funding is allocated to help students attend international conferences and the School's research ethos prioritises publication.

And the Annual Research Students' Colloquium - launched in 1999 - helps build research students' presentation skills and allows them to test their ideas in the context of constructive comment from academic staff and their peers.

Honours student Paul Kelly has taken out the top spot at UQBS's Research Colloquium with his research into the new goodwill accounting standard. Read more
