  • identifying key factors affecting information quality and interpreting that information in a valuation process;
  • valuing potential targets for corporate acquisitions;
  • analysing how proposed acquisitions may be incorporated into the existing firm in a way that maximises shareholder value;
  • analysing risk and uncertainty and the identifying key value drivers; and
  • assessing a firm's optimal capital structure.
