The University of Queensland
The University of Queensland has been named one of the top 50 universities in the world for the fourth year running in the UK's Times Higher Education-QS World University Rankings for 2008.
UQ is the only Queensland university, and one of only a handful of Australian universities appearing in the top 50.
UQ Business School and its MBA program
In 2008, UQ Business School was ranked in the top five in Australia by the Economist Intelligence Unit's Which MBA? survey. Also in the top five were Melbourne Business School, Monash University, Macquarie Graduate School of Management, and Curtin University Graduate School of Business.
UQ Business School was the only Queensland business school included in the Which MBA? Asian and Australasian ranking in 2008.
Australian Rating
UQ Business School's MBA has consistently achieved the highest ranking (five stars) from the Graduate Management Association of Australia (GMAA) over the past four years. The GMAA ranking is published in the Good Universities Guide to MBA and Management Programs.
In 2008 the Good Universities Guide * itself awarded UQ Business School five stars for corporate links, size of faculty (staff), and quality of academic qualifications - and four stars for graduate salaries and getting a job.
