The Not For Profit sector makes important contributions to the Australian society and economy - impacts of which are often overlooked and neglected. This five-day course is designed to enhance the leadership capabilities of senior professionals in the Not for Profit sector. Participants will explore how strong leaders build culture and align it with strategy to effectively transform organisations. They will learn how to enhance partnerships and build networks across the Not for Profit and Profit sectors. This engaging course will equip participants with the necessary skills to be able to sucessfully respond to the leadership challenges faced in this hugely competitive sector.

Course Presenters
Professor Ken Wiltshire
Kenneth Wiltshire AO is the J. D. Story Professor of Public Administration at UQ Business School. He is also the Australian Representative on the Executive Board of UNESCO and a member of the Commonwealth Grants Commission. Ken's main research interests are in government-business relations, public sector management, governance, public policy, leadership, education and training, and comparative federalism. He has published a significant number of books, monographs, and articles in Australasia, Europe and North America.
Professor Victor Callan
Victor Callan is an authority in the field of organisational change, leadership and employee performance and is highly regarded for his research and management consultancy with both the public and private sectors. He is the author of nine books on issues related to people and transition. Victor has been a management consultant for over twenty years, working with some of Australia's best known organisations, including Shell, Qantas, Suncorp Metway, Brisbane Lions Football Club, BHP Billiton and many Federal and State Government Departments. Victor is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Australian Institute of Management and the Academy of Social Sciences of Australia.
Dr Jay Weerawardena
Jay Weerawardena is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at UQ Business School. He specialises in Social Entrepreneurship and innovation-based competitive strategy in not-for-profit organisations. Jay has served as the Chair of Non-Profit Marketing Track at the Academy of Marketing Science's World Marketing Congress. His expertise is around entrepreneurship, competitive strategy and learning capability in not for profit organisations.
