Advanced Leadership for the Not for Profit Sector is a follow-on course from "Leadership for the Not for Profit Sector". This intensive course will further develop the leadership potential of participants in the sector.
This course will focus on the leader as an individual, including the knowledge, skills and competencies required in the current climate, and on the challenges and opportunities facing the sector. Participants will undergo a number of rich and rewarding personal experiences.

Course Presenters
Professor Ken Wiltshire
Kenneth Wiltshire AO is the J. D. Story Professor of Public Administration at UQ Business School. He is also the Australian Representative on the Executive Board of UNESCO and a member of the Commonwealth Grants Commission. Ken's main research interests are in government-business relations, public sector management, governance, public policy, leadership, education and training, and comparative federalism. He has published a significant number of books, monographs, and articles in Australasia, Europe and North America.
Professor Victor Callan
Victor Callan is an authority in the field of organisational change, leadership and employee performance and is highly regarded for his research and management consultancy with both the public and private sectors. He is the author of nine books on issues related to people and transition. Victor has been a management consultant for over twenty years, working with some of Australia's best known organisations, including Shell, Qantas, Suncorp Metway, Brisbane Lions Football Club, BHP Billiton and many Federal and State Government Departments. Victor is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Australian Institute of Management and the Academy of Social Sciences of Australia.
Dr Neil Paulsen
Neil Paulsen is a Senior Lecturer in Organisation and Communication at UQ Business School. He has over 20 years industry experience as a successful senior manager and consultant in public, private, and community sector organisations.
Neil's research includes the development of intergroup perspectives on organisational and behaviour change management, community engagement strategies, and innovation in teams. His research partners and clients include Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, CSIRO, Federal Magistrates Court, NZ Telecom/AAPT and Queensland Health.
Neil is a registered psychologist and a member of various professional associations including the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM), the European Group for Organization Studies and the Australian Psychological Society. He is the recipient of a number of teaching awards including the 2006 ANZAM Management Educator of the Year Award.
