The Top MBA Award is awarded to the student with the highest GPA in 8 core MBA courses (not including MGTS7000 - Management Development Workshop or MGTS7095 - Leadership Workshop).
Being based on academic achievement students do not need to submit an application for this award. The winner will be advised by UQBS staff closer to the event date.

| I'm currently at UQ studying a bachelor of medicine/surgery (just finishing 2nd year), and since graduating from the MBA have also graduated from a Master of Philosophy in 2008 (Health Sciences-Physiotherapy), which examined the utility of the six-minute walk distance in predicting survival of patients who are awaiting lung transplantation.
I am also the 2009 Research Convenor for the University of Queensland Medical Society, which has involved the implementation of new student research initiatives (magazine, workshops & colloquium) as well as representation on academic committees. Finally, I'm also still employed at The Prince Charles Hospital as a clinical cardio-respiratory physiotherapist (since 2002), and also tutor and guest lecture students at the UQ Physiotherapy School. |
