The Director's Award for Leadership is awarded each year to a student who is an outstanding performer with strong leadership potential. The criteria for this award include:
- Charisma
- Individual consideration
- Intellectual stimulation
- Courage
- Dependability
- Flexibility
- Integrity
- Judgment
- Respect for others
Stage one is a written submission providing evidence of leadership and should describe how the MBA experience has enhanced your leadership capability. Written submissions should be no more than two (2) typed A4 pages in length. From the written applications we will shortlist five (5) candidates.
Short-listed students will also attend an interview with a panel. The 2009 panel members are:
- Dr Neil Paulsen, Acting Director Postgraduate Programs & Industry Partnering
- Professor Peter Liesch, Cluster Leader (EIB), UQ Business School
- Damian Vassallo, Business Executive, Runge Limited
