What is Speed Networking all about:
Speed Networking allows participants to build business-to-business contacts quickly. Instead of meeting a few new people during the course of a networking event, Speed Networking puts time limits on your meeting with another individual and you transition from one new person to the next.
In March 2007 our first Speed Networking event was the largest held in Brisbane.
Why would I attend?:
At Speed Networking for Business you talk to a different person every few minutes, promoting your own business and coming away with new industry contacts, new service providers, or knowledge of new products. This as an opportunity to hone your elevator pitch, to practice your networking skills, and to build your confidence at networking, in a fast, fun, and friendly atmosphere. Whether you are in business to promote your product or service, a professional seeking more contacts, or an entrepreneur with a great business idea, it only takes a few minutes to connect.
Who: This is a business-to-business networking event - all alumni from UQ and QUT are encouraged to attend.
