2008

The 2008 CEO Summit, presented in association with the Innovation Leadership Forum addressed workplace innovation. More specifically, the role of the Chair, Director, and CEO in creating innovative organisations. Speakers included Glen Boreham (CEO IBM Australia and New Zealand), James Strong AO (Chairman of Woolworths, IAG, Ripcurl, the Australia Business Arts Foundation, and the Sydney Theatre Company), Gerhard Vorster (Managing Partner Consulting, Deloitte) and Dr Adam Fraser.

2007

The 2007 Summit sought to recognise the success of leaders from all sectors - corporate Australia, government, and the not-for-profit sector. Speakers included Kim Williams AM (CEO Foxtel), Elaine Henry (CEO The Smith Family), Peter Roberts (Managing Editor BRW), Tammy Halter (CEO Absolute Data Group), and Daryl Somerville (Chairman Brisbane Broncos).

2006

In 2006, speakers including Heather Ridout (CEO the Australian Industry Group) and Bernadette Inglis (Wealth Management and Strategy Group Executive Suncorp) addressed the theme of leadership and strategy.

2005

Speakers in 2005 included Jude Munro (CEO Brisbane City Council), Ian Langdon (Chairman Dairy Farmers), Bob Frater (Resmed), and Doug McTaggart (QIC).

2004

The inaugural CEO Summit featured industry leaders and UQ Business School academics on topics such as leadership, corporate governance, finance, and the economic outlook. Keynote speakers were James Strong (as above) and David Gray (Managing Director Boeing Australia).
