Scott Taylor

Scott brings twenty years of diverse experience working in a variety of industries including logistics, utilities, manufacturing, and defence. A graduate of both the Australian Defence Force Academy and the Royal Military Colleges Duntroon, Scott's career started as a logistics officer with the Australian Army.

Scott's commercial experience includes roles with Comalco Smelting and as a management consultant with both SMS and DMR Consulting. Scott spent six years working with Energex and then Tarong Energy prior to joining Queensland Rail as the Chief Risk Officer in 2005. Scott became Head of Risk Management for Babcock & Brown's Specialised Funds in November 2006 and in December 2007 took on the role of Group Manager, Operating Assets with responsibility for developing and delivering a consistent management framework for operating assets management capabilities throughout the asset lifecycle.

Scott is currently the Executive Director of Strategy 2 Results Pty Ltd, an niche management consulting company. Scott's key assignment and focus for 2009 has been to lead the transformation of the Babcock & Brown Wind fund into an independent renewable operating business with global reach into the development, construction and management of renewable generation assets with scale.
