The strength of our alumni network is related to your willingness to get involved. We believe that your involvement as a leader, mentor, or speaker contribute to the long-term sustainability of the UQ Business School brand and community.
As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to build connections, engage in networking opportunities, influence the quality of prospective students, and impact the life of current students.
Based on your availability, skills, and personal interests we hope that you will invest some of your time to extend your connections with the School and enhance the overall experience of those who belong to School's community.
New! Sem 2, 2009 Guest Lecturing Opportunities
International Supply Chain Management and Service Operations Management are postgraduate courses that each semester welcome speakers from industry to give a lecture on a topic relevant to the course. The theme might be a real case study, a recent project, a problem that needed solving, or a success story. Ideally, the hour or so would be highly interactive and challenging to the students. If you would like to get involved contact Dr David Parker, d.parker@business.uq.edu.au.
The Business Information Cluster (BIS) is also welcoming you to offer your time, expertise, and guidance for the benefit of the development of young Information Systems professionals. If you would like to discuss the possibility of being a guest lecturer, contact Corina Raduescu, c.raduescu@business.uq.edu.au.
