For Employers

Many of the Australian students in the UQ Business School MBA program are supported by their employers - who make a financial contribution to tuition fee costs and/or facilitate study through special leave arrangements.

Traditionally, employer-supported Australian students have entered the Part-time MBA program. The introduction of the 12 month Full-time MBA program now makes it possible for employers to consider supporting full-time study by significantly reducing the opportunity cost.

A number of half-fee waiver scholarships are made available annually for Australian students entering the Full-time MBA program. These waivers are available only to employer-supported applicants.

A student is considered to be supported by their employer if the employer provides any of the following:

  • Leave without pay to enrol in the Full-time MBA
  • Paid leave to enrol in the Full-time MBA
  • A financial contribution to tuition fees
  • A financial contribution to living expenses.
