Student loans

Students may apply for a loan at the branch of the Commonwealth Bank located in the Student Union complex on the St Lucia campus. For further information, contact the Commonwealth Bank on +61 7 3365 1722.

Higher Education Loan Program (FEE-HELP)

The Federal government operates a loan scheme for fee-paying postgraduate students (who are either Australian citizens or holders of permanent humanitarian visas) to encourage lifelong learning and the upgrading and acquiring of new skills. This replaces the Postgraduate Education Loans Scheme (PELS). For further details go to Information for Domestic Students.
