All postgraduate students at UQ Business School are eligible for support from the Faculty's Employment Services Unit.
Postgraduate students may apply for a place on the iexchange program which allows talented postgraduate students to gain valuable paid work experience in leading Australian organisations.
In addition, MBA students also benefit from the Top MBA Awards program, which recognises high achievers, and the MBA Yearbook, which promotes graduating MBAs to the School's industry contacts and selected recruiters.h2. Employment Services Unit

UQ Business School has a dedicated Employment Services Officer to generate employment opportunities for students. As well as running career management workshops, the Unit also works to build strategic alliances with key recruiters and employers.

Top MBA Awards
The purpose of the Top MBA Achievers Awards is to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our top graduating MBAs each year - and to bring their talents and skills to the attention of potential employers.
The awards are made annually to students who have graduated in Semester 1 or are eligible to graduate in Semester 2.
The awards are as follows:
- Top MBA award
- Director's award (for leadership)
- Service to the community award
- Awards for excellence in each discipline/cluster.
Awards are presented at a cocktail function in October/November each year. In 2006, the guest of honour was Lord Mayor Campbell Newman, himself a UQ MBA graduate. For more information on the awards visit the Top MBA website.
MBA Yearbook
Launched in 2006, the UQBS MBA Yearbook profiles the graduating MBA class each year and targets potential employers. The Yearbook is also a souvenir for graduates and a networking resource for them. The 2008 Yearbook illustrates both the calibre and diversity of the MBA student cohort.
